We invite applications from junior oncology clinicians based in the South East Asia region for our third one-week online ACORD22 Protocol Development Workshop. The Workshop will be held from 25 – 30 September.
Selected participants are required to commit to full-time participation in the 6 – day Workshop program, all pre-Workshop activities in the 3 weeks prior and to contribute to long term project evaluation; and pay a registration fee of AUD$300 (Participants from Australia, New Zealand and Singapore) or AUD $50 (participants from other regional countries).
The Workshop will be conducted entirely online, using Zoom, Google Drive, Sheets and Docs and other freely available web-based programs and platforms. In order to participate in the Workshop, if you are selected you will be required to provide your own trustworthy computer, microphone, webcam, speakers, and internet access and have a functional and comfortable workspace. You’ll be watching videos, attending zoom meetings, and working on your protocol for many hours each day of the Workshop and will require secure and reliable internet support.
In order to complete your application, you will need to complete the following steps
Carefully read the Applicant instructions, complete all mandatory fields in the online application form and upload all required support materials. This means in advance you will need to:
Develop a one-page protocol design for a clinical trial that you plan to develop at the Workshop
Discuss your protocol with your Supervisors and obtain a Letter of Support
Update your cv and a publication standard colour photograph of yourself (frontal, head, and chest only)
Organise and check that you have a completed Supervisor Support Statement to upload and completed the Participation Support Statement.

She studied medicine at Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore. She later moved to the UK and after passing the MRCP exam, she received training in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Northern Centre for Cancer Treatment, Newcastle upon Tyne. She then accepted a consultant’s post in Medical Oncology / Hematology at King Khalid University Hospital. Her areas of interest are breast cancer, ovarian cancer and lymphoma.
